At the munich conference in september 1938 the british and french appeased the nazi’s by giving them the sudetenland in exchange for a nazi promise not to expand further. why did the british and french choose a policy of appeasement?

Respuesta :

By using appeasement it ensured they would have a better defense because of borrowed time. If they had avoided appeasement and went to war, their military forces and economies would be insufficent and they would have sureley lost
