The amoeba moves and ingest through it's pseudopodia. The pseudopodia is a protrusion of the cytoplasm.this movement is usually reffered to as the amoeboid movement.the amoeba lacks a rigid pellicle as a result it's body is an unstable form.the pseudopodia can be formed at any position and can be withdrawn into the cell.
The pseudopodia is also used in feeding.the amoeba protrudes it's pseudopodia and engulfs it's prey which is then digested in a few vacuole.
