in the episode, the bison is described as a "mobile general store" for native americans on the plains. what does this phrase mean? what were the consequence of the destruction of the bison population for native americans

Respuesta :

They were referred to as a "mobile general store" because of how much meat you could harvest off of one, as well as all the other things you could get from them, such as their horns. The consequence of destroying the bison population for Native Americans was that the Native Americans had to move and find new food sources, and actually, this contributed to them having to live on reservations, as the migratory tribes no longer had a food source.
