     I've got you! First, calm down. I know I'm never able to do math while I'm freaked out.
     So, distance equals rate times time. Or, more simply, D=R times T. We know the distance, which is 20 meters. So, 20=R times T.
     We also know our rate. Our rate is 4.7 meters per second. So, now we have 20=4.7 times T. To solve this equation, we have to find out what T is.
     To do this you have to set it up like so (the lines mean dividing):

                                                             20 = 4.7 x T
                                                             ----    ---------
                                                             4.7       4.7

     You always start on the side with the variable, which is T. First you divide 4.7 by 4.7, which leaves us with zero. You don't have to worry about those so just slash a line through them to remind yourself. On that side, it just leave you with T.

     Now your equation should look like this:

                                                               20 = T
                                                              -----
                                                              4.7
Now, to finish your problem, you just have to do 20 divided by 4.7, which gives you an answer of 4.3 seconds, which is A. I know it may seem like a lot, but once you do this a couple of time it gets easier and actually can be quite fun! Enjoy!
