The Cuyahoga River is located in the Northeast Ohio, in the United States. It is an area of concern under the 1987 Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement. It caught fire also in 1969, due to its polluted state. It has been transformed from a devastating situation to a revitalized asset, by the expenditure of huge sums. But, the result is the restoration of life and water quality of the river, as an environmental milestone for the States. 

Cuyahoga River is situated near Northeast Ohio with an area of 10.3 km squares containing 16 cities in its midwestern.

What is the impact of the Cuyahoga River on environment?

The Cuyahoga River has a major concern for environmentalists as it has become the most crucial point for pollution in the US.  The cities are facing problems related to water pollution and fire in forests.

Therefore, it has made government and environmental groups transform society by introducing the Clean Water act and cleaning rivers by making huge expenditures in resorting environment.
