In this case, the nurse should approach the
patient by telling the truth about the situation of the patient and the nurse
should be honest to the patient and inform the details of the situation even if
the condition is bad or good. Explaining to the 16 year old patient of his or
her condition in detail will help the patient understand what is he/her should
go through and what treatment or laboratory test that still be conducted to the
patient in order for the doctor to fully make the patient recover.
