The locker combination has three nonzero numbers so the last digit cant be zero but all other even numbers in between 1 to 9 
Between 1 to 9 we have 
2,4,6,8 these r the even numbers 
total numbers between 1 to 9 is 9 so the probability of getting 1 even number is [tex] \frac{4}{9} [/tex] ...
