Lot of women go to university, but only small percentage of the female population is actually working. For starters, the women that are going to university are allowed to go to them by their authoritative male figure in their lives, father or husband, if they do not approve, then they can not go. Also, Saudi Arabia is still a country where women are looked at as inferior to men, and everything they do has to be approved by the male authoritative figure in their lives, otherwise they can not do it without permission. This is the case with the working, where lots of women are simply not allowed to go to work, and they are told and forced to stay at home, be housewives hidden from the rest of the world, and taking care of the house and children.
