Children typically develop their frontal and sphenoid sinuses later in childhood and into adolescence. The frontal sinuses can start to develop around the age of 7-8 and may not be fully developed until late adolescence or early adulthood. The sphenoid sinuses usually start developing around the ages of 3-5 and continue into adolescence. Keep in mind that these ages are approximate and can vary from one individual to another.
