Your roller coaster must meet the following conditions:
- The first part of the ride is modelled by a quadratic function. It includes a steep hill that starts at the origin, where the cars obtain their initial energy.
- The middle part of the ride should include at least 1 model of a sinusoidal function with at least 2 cycles.
- The final part of the ride is modelled by a rational function or exponential function that brings the cars back close to the ground.
You will have to:
- Determine an equation for each part of the ride.
- Graph all equations on Desmos and make sure that they join each other
Your graph must include restrictions by changing your domain and/or range.
