This passage is based on the Zoroastrian logond
Qissa-i Sanjan, which recounts the story of when the
Zoroastrians first arrived in India and their priests
(Dasturs) asked to be allowed to settle in King Jadhav
Rana's kingdom. The prosperous but small Zoroastrian
community in India has consistently ropaid their
adopted homeland with hard work and loyalty.
