The colonies that became the original United States were part of which European nation's land claims? What demands did colonists in this region place on the American Indians who lived there?

Respuesta :

The Colonies that became the original United States were part of Britain's land claims. The colonists also demanded land, labor, and resources from the Indians when they could. (However, before they gained their independence, Britian did not allow them to take any extra land, because they did not want to be at war with the Indians. This resulted in overcrowding of the colonies and anger towards the British government)

hope this helps
Hello My Friend Qwerty!

Let's take a look at the name: colonies. If a land is a colony, it is a colony of something, that is, there is some other land that has control over it: in this case this was Great Britain: Great Britain had claims and control over the colonies.

Ps. England. The land was under English control but the land itself was often owned my individuals that the king owed money to,proprieters(business men) and the king.

So yes, as we can clearly see, the colonies that became the original United States were, in general, part of of the British, Spanish, and Dutch land claims. Although it should be noted that many of the people escaping persecution were from England.
