Is it supposed to be 3*2+4x=1 (The star means to multiply). If so do the following.

3*2+4x=1
Multiply 3*2
6+4x=1
Subtract 6 from both sides
4x= -5
Divide by 4
x= -1.25
Over here.. We have to make x as the subject.
Which means...You'd have to multiply 3 and 2 which is 6...6+4x=1 After which you shift 6 to the other side... 4x=1 -6 ..Whixh concludes 4x is ...Wait.. is there an error in the question?.. Shouldn't it be 3x+2+4x=1?
