The term “Apocrypha” is generally used for the books which were not made the part of Old Testament as they were of questionable authority. The term itself came from Greek meaning “Hidden” or “Secret”. They contain fifteen books and as stated are doubtful according to Protestants, though sometimes they are included in separate section.

Pseudepigrapha are those works of printed material which have unknown authors or which are attributed towards some historical figures falsely so they are also not used by protestants.
