To record your results in Excel using the CoinFlip Spreadsheet Template.xlsx file and save, you can follow these steps:
- Open the CoinFlip Spreadsheet Template.xlsx file in Excel. You should see a blank table with 20 rows and 3 columns, labeled as Trial, Heads, and Percent.
- In the first row, under the Trial column, type 1. This indicates the first trial of flipping 10 coins.
- In the same row, under the Heads column, type the number of heads you got from flipping 10 coins. For example, if you got 6 heads, type 6.
- In the same row, under the Percent column, type the formula `=B2/10*100` and press Enter. This will calculate the percent of heads out of 10 flips. For example, if you got 6 heads, the formula will return 60%.
- Repeat steps 2 to 4 for the remaining 19 rows, increasing the trial number by 1 each time. For example, in the second row, type 2 under the Trial column, type the number of heads you got from the second trial of flipping 10 coins under the Heads column, and type the formula `=B3/10*100` under the Percent column.
After you have filled all the rows, you should see a table like this:

To save the file, click on the File tab and choose Save or Save As. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+S to save the file.
