Throughout history, the role of women has changed a lot, influenced by culture, society, economy, and politics. In the past, women mainly stayed at home, but over time, they started to do more things outside the home. When factories were built, women got jobs outside the house, which was new. Also, groups fighting for women's rights pushed for more opportunities for women in things like education and politics.
