Today in class, we dissected frogs as part of our biology unit. It was a bit gross at first, but the experience turned out to be fascinating. I learned a lot about the internal organs of frogs, and I gained an appreciation for how complex their bodies are. While I enjoyed the science aspect, I couldn't help but feel a little sad for the frog that sacrificed its life for our education. Despite the mixed emotions, I'm glad I participated in the dissection because it helped me learn in a way that simply reading from a textbook never could.
