This is false. We also call data analysis as analysis of data or data analytics. Data analysis is a process of inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling data. The goal of this process is to discover useful information, suggest conclusions, and support decision-making. The first step in data analysis is to define the questions. The right questions should be determined and these questions should be measurable, clear and concise. The second one is that the measurement priorities should be clear. The sub-steps under this are: A) decide what to measure, and B) decide how to measure it. With the questions and the measurement priorities all set-up, it is now time to collect the data. Providing that the correct data are collected, deeper data analysis is to be done. Next is the manipulation of the data collected in a number of different ways which could help in finding the answers to the questions set-up in the beginning of the process such as plotting them out and finding correlations.
