A medication order is for 2 1/4gr. of a drug to be given tid. You have 3/4gr. tabs in stock. How many tablets would you give with each dose? How many tablets would you give in a day? How many tablets would you need to fill this prescription for a 30-day supply?

9/4 * 4/3 = 
9/3 =
3 <=== give 3 tabs per dose

In a day....the medicine is to be given tid (3 times daily)...so in 1 day, u would give (3 * 3) = 9 tablets per day

for a 30 day supply.....if ur giving 9 tabs per day...(9 * 30) = 270 tablets for 30 days <==
