One of the most important things a child can learn at this age is how to interact both with their peers and within a structured environment. This prepares them to be capable of focusing on their studies as they progress in their academic career. Being unable to get along with classmates or follow classroom rules is disruptive to a students ability to learn and process information so just understanding how to function in a school environment is a critical part of their learning foundation.
