if line a is perpendicular to b and b perpendicular to c
then a and c are parallel.

since RS is Perpendicular bisector therefore K is midpoint of JL.
I can help with 8. So RS is the line you get when you start at point R and go straight down to point S. (You can highlight that line one color if it helps.) So line RS is perpendicular to line JL (meaning it runs straight down the middle of that line.) Now, point K is in the very center of those two lines. It is in the exact middle of each line segment. So it is the midpoint of RS. :) Does this help any?
