10x=5x-11

5x=-11
÷5    ÷5
x= -2.2
10x+8=5x-3

subtact 5x from both sides 5x+8=-3 then subtract 8 from both sides 5x=-11 then divide 5 from both sides 5x/5x=-11/5. answer x=-11/5
