With the railroad creation especially in America changed the course of all economics. Not only was it something never before seen in that timezone it was a way for transportation as well as the shipment of items. It changed the economy by making it so much easier to ship items and mail pretty much eliminating the use of horses.
Railroads built in the nineteenth century are a milestone in the history of American development. Prior to the construction of the railways, commercial production was primarily centered on regional markets. Railways connected cities, opening new consumer markets for products, enabling goods to be transported over long distances for the first time. In addition, railroads have drastically reduced freight costs, making products cheaper and benefiting consumers.
