the mean (average) can be found by adding up all ur numbers and dividing by how many numbers there are.

(10 + 6 + 15 + 12 + 16 + 8 + 5) / 7 = the mean
72/7 = the mean
10.28 rounds to 10.3 lbs = ur mean
To find the mean you need to add all the numbers up and then divide by the amount of numbers. It should look like this:
10 + 6 + 15 + 12 + 16 + 8 + 5= 72
72 divided by 7 = 10.28571428571429
Round 10.28571428571429 to the nearest tenth: 10.3

The answer is 10.3
