This is an example of instrumental leadership. Instrumental leadership is when the leader organizes the circumstances of the business, like a conductor in the orchestra. Such a leader tends to be self focused, in that they use their own actions and abilities to engage with the world, instead of focusing on bringing out the skills of others.
