The kulaks is a term used to describe Wealthier peasants.
The term is actually used in a derogatory way by Soviet Government because they resist handing over their assets to the soviet union government during the communist era.
Even Vladimir Ilyich Lenin described them as "bloodsuckkers, vampires, plunderers of the people and profiteers, who fatten on famine"
