It is called guerrilla marketing. The main goal of this strategy is to maximize profits without having to spend a lot of money on attracting customers. Companies with low budgets use this strategy a lot to make up for their low spending money. Guerrilla marketing is much more creative that your typical marketing, it does not simply tell you to buy a company's product. It tries to make you laugh, imagine, feel or think to convince someone to buy a company's product.
