Hello!!

Slope intercept form is just a frightening term. I was terrified when I started to solve these sort of problems. I’ll make this easy!

The calculation to your equation is:
Y=5x-1/4
And so all you have to do is use this formula— y=mx+b

I really hope this helps! Let me know if there is anything else I can help with. Have a great evening.

The equation 5x - y= 1/4 in slope-intercept form is; y = 5x - 1/4.

The slope-intercept form of a linear equation usually takes the form;

y = mx + c.

By rearranging the equation

5x - y = 1/4 to take the form;

y = mx + c;

we have;

5x - y = 1/4

subtract 5x from both sides

- y = 1/4 - 5x

divide both sides by -1

y = - 1/4 + 5x

Rewriting it

y = 5x - 1/4

Therefore, the equation 5x - y = 1/4 in slope - intercept form is; y = 5x - 1/4.
