past simple = the action is finished, over....
present perfect = the action has a link, a connection between the present and the past...and the action may not be finished as n° 3 (he/she might see more films//n° 5 he might go one day // n° 8 = she might work in other countries later on // and they all have a connection with the present.
present perfect continuous = when you focus on the action (as n° 4) The focus is on the action "wait" and they're still waiting--> the action isn't finished
