I am just guessing:
 

-If the parent is single than she should take a day off or as long as the baby is in the hospital. Then when the baby is at home she should hire a baby-sitter while she works and gains money for her and her baby

- If the woman has a husband than the husband should take care of the baby while the mother is working 

- I am just guessing
