Boyles law involves the pressure and volume of gas in a container. It can be repersented by the formula p sub 1 v sub 1= p sub 2 v sub 2. When the formula is solved for p sub 2, the results is

Hello!

We have when NRT is held constant a linear relationship between pressure and volume of a container with an ideal gas. Here we have

P1V1=P2V2 solving for P2 we just divide both sides by V2 and we get

P2=P1V1/V2

Hope this helps. Any questions please just ask! Thanks so much!!
