Respuesta :

We have that convergent boundaries between tectonic plates are boundaries where the plates are closing in; divergent boundaries are the boundaries between plates that are moving away from each other and transform boundaries are where plates are moving parallel to the boundary, sliding past each other. There are no tectonic boundaries, only tectonic plates (saying tectonic boundaries would be superfluous).

Tectonic Boundary ( B )  is not a type of plate boundary

There are three(3) types of plate boundary which are ;

  • Convergent boundaries,
  • Divergent boundaries and
  • Transform boundaries.

At convergent boundaries tectonic plates collides with each other and this leads to subduction when either of the colliding plates is made up of oceanic crust. At divergent boundaries the tectonic plates move away from each other while at transform boundaries the tectonic plates slides past each other.

There is no tectonic boundary but tectonic plates which make up the various tectonic boundaries.

Hence we can conclude that Tectonic Boundary is not a type of plate boundary.
