Inequality is opposite of freedom because when people are considered unequal then they are considered inferior. Inferiority suppresses the right of freedom.

Inequality is a social issue in the society, it is the reason for discrimination on the basis of gender, socioeconomic status, education, cast, and ethnicity.
When people are considered unequal by other dominating people they are suppressed, they lose their right of speech and expression, right to freedom, and right to education.
Such inferior people cannot take decisions for their betterment.
