Alliteration is the use of the same letter or sound in the beginning of words that are close together. Ally ate all the Alligators would be an example of alliteration. Repetition is the act of repeating something that has already been said or written. Like in the song, “let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.” Finally, Onomatopoeia is the formation of the word that has a sound associated with it. Sizzle is an example of onomatopoeia.
