Junior high classes of 35 students each met in the cafeteria to take achievements tests. If exactly 5 students sat at each table and 28 tables were used, how many classes took the test

First you have to find the total amount of kids

5 kids a table
28 tables

Multiply these numbers

28 * 5 = 140

Then divide by the amount of kids in a class

140 / 35 = 4

The answer is 4 classes
