Schizophrenia has a social stigma and people do react with fear and lack of understanding about it. Symptoms of this disorder would result from isolation making it difficult to have a successful treatment. To reduce the chance of Malik to develop complications of schizophrenia like depression and suicide the psychiatrist would prescribe a newer generation antipsychotic drug like Risperidone.
