I believe the answer is: Deforestation
Deforestation often happen when a certain establishment is trying to clear up the natural obstaceles (such as trees and rocks) in order to opened up a new land for their businesses. This would make a lot of species unable to obtain necessary foods or protection in that area, which eventually resulted in species loss.
