If u divide 25 from a hundred u get 4
then u times 4 by 6 and get 24

so, number of student prefer the most is 25% of x

we have

number of student prefer pizza the most is 6

so, we can set them equal

[tex] 6=0.25x [/tex]

now, we can solve for x

we get

[tex] x=24 [/tex]

so, total number of students is 24...........Answer
