Eric Dishman realized he should take charge of his health and that it is a team sport when he was a college sophomore when he was diagnose with kidney disease and was informed he only had 2 to 3 years to live even with treatment thus when inspired by a friend he met he was informed that doctors only examined him as one part instead of being a whole person thus he made research and took control of his life and moved on.
