Can someone check my grammar? Will give Brainliest!!

"It gives viewers a much deeper insight as to just how important automobiles were during this specific time period; the ‘20s.".

I put a semicolon right before after the word "period" but I am unsure as to whether that is the correct punctuation to use. Can anyone help?

Answer:

Yes, the semi colon is fine. The one thing I would suggest changing, is where you said "much deeper", 'much' is not needed.

Explanation:

'Deeper' alone makes more sense than 'much deeper", it also sounds better than it did before. Hope this helps :)
