I would say that she didn't correct her wrong answers after the first test, therefore making her confused on the second.

She didn't correct her wrong answers after the first test and she obviously didn't use the first test as a means of studying for the second one. If she had corrected her answers from the first test and studied properly for the second one then she would have known the answers to the questions.
