What I do is forgive my friend. I try to explain him that to not break any promises given by you. If your important stuff (Something that is more precious than your life) is in danger, it is reasonable to sacrifice your promise. However, if you keep on breaking promises for no reason, nobody in the world will be friends with you. I hope you do not break promises from now on.
What you can do is explain to the friend that they hurt you and if they care they will try to fix it but if they don’t care they won’t bother trying to fix it
