describe the Marshall plan? What was the motive of the United States in instituting the Marshall plan?

Respuesta :

Marshall was introduced during the Cold War. It basically provided help/aid to the nations that were in fear of taken over by the ideology of Communism created by Karl Marx which the USSR pursued. The motive was to protect non-communist nations and help those nations to fight back Communism from taking over.
Also, talk about the TRUMAN DOCTRINE.
It was an economic recovery plan designed and implemented by the united states to assist with recovery efforts for Western Europe after world war II. The Marshall Plan was implemented in 1947 and provided $13 billion in loans to deteriorated countries in Western Europe. The plan was named after secretary of state general Marshall  who was constructed  the foundation and drafted the proposal  for the u.s congress. The plan was not accepted by the majority of Eastern Europe and soviet union.        Hope this helped !!
